Well, the cold season has officially hit our home. Usually we are lucky enough that only one of us at a time gets sick, but over the course of this week the kids and I have fallen victim to runny noses and coughs.  This is my third bout with illness in the past 6 weeks, first a really bad cold, then a case of laryngitis, and now another cold.  Though there is never a good time for a cold, it seems to add to its frustration with the upcoming holidays.  So, not wanting to miss a learning opportunity, the kids and I will be doing a short study on viruses, germs and how to prevent their spread.  We will also be grabbing the disinfectant and doing a thorough cleaning.  Ah, the beauty of homeschooling.
