What Color Christmas Tree?

A few weeks ago, my daughter and I were going into our local Walmart.  This was well before Thanksgiving and they were already setting up their holiday displays.  My daughter’s attention was drawn to the Christmas tree display and her eyes spotted what she considered the perfect tree for her room.  It was purple.  "Purple?" I say. It stood beside the pink, blue and red trees.  Now, I don’t know about you, but when I was growing up the only color trees I ever saw were green and an occasional white tree for those more adventurous types.  So when I saw this little quiz on Blogthings, I just had to see what color tree they thought I should have.

You Should Have a Blue Christmas Tree
For you, the holidays represent a time of calm, understanding, and peace.
You avoid family fights, and you don’t get too stressed out – even when things are crazy!

You like to make Christmas about making everyone’s life a little bit better.
You don’t get caught up in greed or commercialism. You’re too sincere for that.

Your blue tree would look great with: Lots of silver tinsel

You should spend Christmas Eve watching: It’s a Wonderful Life

What you should bake for Christmas: Chocolate chip cookies

Go figure. Needless to say, we are sticking with the traditional green.  Call me old fashioned, but I have never seen a purple tree growing wild.
