With busy schedules and events always seeming to fall right around the dinner hour, I am so grateful for slow cookers. The convenience of ‘fix-it-and-forget-it’ has been a sanity saver many times. It is so nice to come home from running around and having supper waiting just to be eaten. I even keep one of my slow cookers in our camper to use while we are on trips. My younger son gave me a triple crock slow cooker for Christmas this past year and it has quickly become my favorite.
I am linking up with Garden of Learning’s Gratitude Challenge and Teaching Good Things 30 Days of Gratitude. Are you participating in the Gratitude Challenge this month?
Yes! I love my slow cooker too. I have a triple and I haven’t used it yet. Do you use all three sections to make a single dinner?
Thanks for stopping by, Kelly. Most of the time I do use all three crocks especially when I don’t want a one-pot meal. I put the meat into one, a veggie or starch in the other, and usually made a dessert in the third. The crocks are only 2.5 qts so they are the perfect size to make a meal. The fun part is finding the recipes to fit the bill. 🙂
