Blogger Friend School-When There’s No Tomorrow

Memory Verse:
Ecclesiastes 1:13-14
I devoted myself to study and to explore by wisdom all that is done under heaven. What a heavy burden God has laid on men! I have seen all the things that are done under the sun; all of them are meaningless, a chasing after the wind.

Assignment:
We only have today. Should God take you today, have you accomplished everything that you wanted to, needed to. Have you said all the things that needed to be said? Let’s have no regrets, let’s make sure we get to those things, so that when we’re standing before the Lord, the only thing we need to do is to worship him.. and not regret not getting to that thing on our to do list. Stop – go take care of that thing…. then, come tell us what you choose to share. Don’t embarrass yourself or any of your loved ones.

There are many things I would like to do before I meet God face to face, but there is one thing that I would really like to see done before that time comes. I want to see all my family come to Him. This is an ongoing process. I pray daily for those whom I am pretty sure don’t know His love and mercy. I speak of His grace at every opportunity. I try not to push, but there are some days when I feel an urgency to know of their salvation. I understand that only He knows the heart but it is so hard to think that when I leave this earth I may never see those I have loved for so long. I know that His Spirit is at work and that all I can to do is speak the Truth. He will do the rest.

James 4:14
Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapour, that appeareth for a little time, and then vanisheth away.

I understand what you're saying. I know that my family members are saved, they just don't live like they are. I want them to honor and obey God, not just proclaim it. I keep putting Him out there for them, so it's never upspoken but I don't push either…gentle reminders.

I thought you might like this awesome new movie! It is called Come What May! It supports the fight for life, inspires the Godly marriage and encourages purity. You can even veiw it free today and tomorrow yet! It is so worth the time. I am trying to get the word out before everyone goes to vote, too!

It was made by over 40 homeschoolers! Way to go homeschoolers! A+

I have many unsaved family members as well. It breaks my heart to know their destiny and to not be able to change it on my own. Keep praying! God is faithful.

So true and a good reminder!

Hey, I just wanted you to know that I've tried posting about the gracious award that you passed onto me last week, but I'm having problems getting the graphic copied. I didn't want you to think I was ignoring it.

I know what you mean. I have a few family members who are not saved, and I feel pretty free to speak to them — they already think I'm "out there", so I won't offend them :). My problem is like what Nancy said: those who profess Christ, but live like the world. Very sad. Unfortunately, I can't change their walk, I can just live mine in front of them and hope they see a difference.
