I had something else planned to post, but it can wait. As part of my morning routine I usually watch a bit of morning news. This morning I was brought to tears by the tragedy in Blencoe, Iowa at the Little Creek Scout Camp. If you haven’t already heard this camp was holding a leadership training camp when, without warning, a tornado hit. At this writing 4 people were killed and many others injured. There were a couple of stories of acts of bravery preformed by the boys and I’m sure will hear more. I think they were all very brave. As a mother of scouts for so many years, I know how important these camping trips are to these boys. Not only do they have a great time but they also learn valuable life skills. I think of my own sons and how I would feel if they were in the same situation. My heart and my prayers go out to those boys and their families and I know you join me in agreement while they go through the healing process.

Oh, that is so sad! I hadn't heard about this yet, but I'll definitely be praying for those families.
…on the radio this morning. How sad and scary.
Heidi
I've prayed for them too.
Blessings,
Laurie
I was stunned when I read about it. For some odd reason I never even thought of the possibility of something like that….
I've been praying for them.
