Over the past few days I’ve been working on planning out the next four years of my son’s schooling for high school. While I’m not too concerned with being able to teach him his subjects, I have been trying to decide what to teach when, trying to work out the best college prep course plan. The only subject that I am trying to decide on is his English courses.I know what he needs, but finding just the right course of action and the books that will meet our vision has been on my mind I’m sure it will all fall together.
I created this worksheet to help in my planning.Maybe it will help you out also.
While checking some of the other homeschool planner pages I posted back in June 2007, I found that something had happened to the files. I have fixed them and also tweaked the originals a bit. I still use the basic planning sheets to layout the year.
Looks like a great start. I think High school is so scary in the planning stage but now it gets easier. I can't believe my big teen in entering his senior year. Wow, I have one starting kindergarten and one starting 12th grade.

Dawn
Yikes! I always get nervous when I start thinking about high school….not because I'm skeptical about my abilities, but because I'm worried about keeping track of credits and what-not. But I have a couple more years to work out my jitters….
I will be in the middle of high school planning myself, in a few weeks. I've thought lightly about it and am ahead in the process. But I've got to get to the nitty gritty.
Blessings,
Laurie
Looks good!
My (now college) kid had so many "extra's" that we needed more space per subject. Books- we couldn't use just one… =P LOL!
