Another year has just begun,
With a desire to start a new,
To change the things you feel the need,
Will make a better you.
Stronger bones and sharper minds,
Bad habits to break for good,
In everything, to seek Him first,
As we always should.
Reach out your hand, embrace the day,
For each one is brand new,
Look to Him who knows you best.
It will make a better you.

Great poem.
Thanks for sharing,
Heidi
As always, a wonderful, timely poem!
My dd's gave me the prettiest journal with satiny ribbon cover and shimmery glittery gel pens, and there's nothing like a new year to cause reflection…more than I can muster time to blog about…got a couple of drafts going, but can't get em done!
Love your thoughts on the new year through poetry! Praying that the Lord blesses as you compose for Him!
