Seeking Him

With outstretched arms,
I reach for you,
To ease my weary mind,
To take the burdens
Of the day,
And leave them all behind.

With childlike vision,
I search for you,
To open up my eyes,
To show me all you
Have for me,
And lead me to the prize.

With gladdened heart,
I sing to you,
To praise your work in me,
To rejoice in all
You have done,
To set my spirit free.

Thank you for sharing your poetry–He is amazing–I think of all His children–He's working on each one of us, preparing us for the Day of Christ, when His work in us will be complete.
