New Addition

Yesterday was a VERY busy day.  In addition to our schoolwork, we had a hair appointment for my son, ice-skating lessons, and the kids are now going to be playing on the volleyball teams for the school I used to work for so they had practice.  In between the haircut and the skating we scheduled to stop by a woman’s home who had free kittens.  We now have a new member of the family.  I’ve been missing my Midnite but I wanted to wait until vacations and summer were done to get another cat. I’ve been looking for a few weeks and came across an ad at PetSmart. She is very sweet and full of energy.  So, without further ado, making her public debut, here is Willow.

Willow

(Excuse the eyes.  Haven’t figured out how to get them not to glow.)

How sweet! Have you tried turning off your flash? That's what I've found works best for those pet-glowing eyes.

Every time you mentioned haircut I had to giggle about the cat. I don't know why. I guess because your beautiful new addition looks just like my cat…except my cat's fur isn't quite so fluffy! lol

Dh doesn't want cats…but if I had one, Willow would be the kind I'd love…long-haired and colorful!

Chorizo is a Mexican sausage, it's a reddish orange color, and gets very liquidy when cooked…bad fats, I'm sure. I gather from watching Rachel Ray and gathering little facts that Spanish chorizo is more solid, cured I think? It stays in it's round form and can be cut into pieces. But the Mexican stuff liquifies. It's salty, but very tasty. It would be near the regular sausage (Farmer John, Jimmy Dean, etc.) and the kind I get usually comes in a clearish plastic tube, printing on the package will indicate either beef or pork. You can always ask for help. It runs about 99 cents per 1 lb. package at our Wal-Mart. Yum-O!

    Blessings,

    Anne-Marie
