At the end of the day, how wonderful is it to have a place to rest our weary bodies?!  It makes me sad to think that the simple pleasure of snuggling down for the night in comfort is not a reality to so many people.  I am thankful for sheets, blankets, pillows, and a bed to sleep on to allow me to rejuvenate for another day. Pets add so much to our lives. In our house we have had a menagerie of small animals live with us including dogs, cats, birds, fish, hamsters, mice, lizards, frogs, turtles, hermit crabs, and a variety of bugs. With busy schedules and events always seeming to fall right around the dinner hour, I am so grateful for slow cookers. The convenience of ‘fix-it-and-forget-it’ has been a sanity saver many times.
