As I have grown older, my eyes have grown weaker and I now need to wear bifocals all the time. I know lots of folks have worn glasses all their lives, but until you find yourself trying to navigate a blurry world and unable to read even large print I don’t think you truly appreciate what a gift they are. Social media has definitely changed the way we keep in touch and has opened whole new worlds of friendships. I appreciate being able to keep up with folks I don’t get to see very often and I love making new friends with people I may not have otherwise ever met through traditional meetings.
