My son, despise not the chastening of the LORD; neither be weary of his correction:

I think that God sends us trials for us to face not only to help us correct our attitudes and behaviors but also to prepare us for future tasks He has for us. We must try our best not to complain and gripe when difficult times come our way, but should rejoice that our Father is molding us into what he needs us to be.
