October was such a busy month. In addition to my trip to Tennessee and the kids’ trip to the beach with my dad, we were on vacation last week and my husband and I celebrated our 25th anniversary. The past few days I’ve been dealing with some sort of pain in my abdomen and a bit of a fever. I’m sure it’s nothing. That’s the reason I’m a bit late posting this month’s writing calendar. Hope you enjoy it just the same. Thanks to those of you who let me know your thoughts and how you are incorporating them in you families. I really enjoy getting your input.

Thanks for the calendar! Do take care of yourself! If that pain is on your lower right side… think appendix (a friends son just had a VERY nasty battle w/a ruptured one)… just don't let it linger too long w/o getting it checked out. Just noticed something funny… you are exactly 1 day older than my dear sister. So wish she too would have been led to homeschool their children. Thanks again for the calendar!

My daughter loved these – she spent free time writing last month! She asked me to look for Novembers. So thank you.
Hi Ginny! I sure hope you'll be feeling better soon!
Just thought I'd comment again and share with you my daughter's writing from today. I let her choose which writing prompt she wants to use (she doesn't do this every day).
I wanted to encourage you that the effort you put in to providing these prompts is greatly appreciated.

Thank You very much for these calendars. My 2nd grader loves them. I am going to have him start using them for writing on his blog!
Hello,
I love your writing prompts, thank you for posting them so we can use them. My daughter attends school outside the home right now, we do a parent co-op school until we can be home 100% of the time. We are using your prompts to start discussions at the dinner table during meal time. It allows for us all to say a little something about that days prompt and we learn more about each other and grow closer as a family. Thank you again for sharing these with us.
Blessings
Desiree
It would be very nice if you could post the calendars at least 3 days before the month begins. We are a homeschooling support group and I always mail out a monthly newsletter to our group about 2 days before the end of the month, so they will have it by the first of the next month. I wanted to print the November one and send it with the newsletter, but it was accessible then. That would be greatly appreciated! Thank you so much!

Ginny:
Hope you're feeling better today. Congratulations on 25 years…we're at 23 1/2…almost there. Missed you terribly last week, but hope you had a wonderful time!
that was me above!

WOW! These are So great! My son, who does not like to write, usually finds some of these prompts that he actually likes to write about. My daughter does enjoy writing and loves the diversity of the prompts. We use them for journal writing about 2 times a week. Thanks for all of your hard work in providing these!
I don't want to sound ugly but…
I would love to have these up sooner but I do this for my family and freely share with others. I try to post them before the month starts but I work, homeschool my children, take care of my home & family and have a small business so it is not always possible for me to do this. You are free to share a link to my blog in your newsletter with your members so they can come here anytime they wish and grab any of the free printables I offer. (on the sidebar)
BTW… the calendars do fall under copyright laws.
Hope you fell better soon! Thanks so much for creating these calendars. We love them!
