Well, I survived the procedure yesterday. It really wasn’t as bad as I thought it was going to be. They numbed my mouth up with a super duper dose of Novocain, gave me a shot of adrenaline and went to work. They made an incision in my gum, peeled it back, drilled the tooth, removed the root and cleaned out the pea-sized abscess. I was out of there in about 20 minutes. I have no pain this morning except for the funny, dry feeling where the sutures are. God is so good to have sent me to a Christian dentist. The whole time they were working on me, he was giving me a play by play, which I probably could have done without, and I was singing in my head “Jesus Loves Me This I Know”. For some reason that was the only song I could think of at the time. So I go back next week to get the stitches out and I should be good to go. I’m so happy this is over.

I wanted to share with you about a great freebie just in time for Easter that I was privileged to be part of. The Old Schoolhouse Magazine is giving away 2 books and beautiful place cards to add to your Easter studies. I made a copybook of Scripture passages taken from the Gospels of Matthew, Mark and Luke that tell the story of Christ’s sacrifice. There are both print and cursive pages included. Stephanie Ruby put together an activity book with loads of ideas and activities to do for Easter. And then you also get a set of lovely place cards to add more beauty to your Easter table.
Did I mention this mini-unit study is absolutely free?
If you do download these e-books, I would love to hear what you think.
You can find my contribution on my Freebies page.
