We woke up this morning to something rare in South Carolina.
We called off school on account of snow. I know we have no school buses to ride or car pools to drive, but it snows so rarely here that we just had to call a holiday. The kids bundled up and went outside to enjoy the white stuff. They weren’t able to have a snowball fight because they fell apart in their hands. And there wasn’t enough snow to make a snowman (they would have had to import it from the neighbors) but they had fun enjoying the beauty and just the fact that it had snowed.
Glad you all got snow. THis weather is so strange. We got less snow than you and we live in the mountains. Of course, the wind was blowing it away as fast as it fell.
Blessings,
Dawn
Further south didn't get any, so says my family in Charleston. My sister said they got flakes, but they had to squint to see them. We had flurries off and on for 2 days, but very little accumulation. It sure looks beautiful!
What is snow? =)
Blessings,
Laurie
