Today we finally made it to the post office to ship out our Christmas packages. Life has been so busy with this and that and the other thing that time just slipped away from us. We also took the day off from school and the kids tried to finish their Christmas shopping. They have put a lot of thought into this year’s gifts and used their saved up allowances to make their purchases. They even wrapped them up themselves which is quite a relief because I have yet to start wrapping. Actually, their gifts aren’t even here at the house. They are way to nosey to keep them here. Tomorrow, my husband and I are dropping the kids off at my parents and finishing up the shopping. Then Saturday, he and my oldest will go out for their traditional shopping trip. By Sunday we will be shopped-out for the year and will be avoiding the stores at all costs. Then we can solely concentrate making our celebration of the birth of Christ a blessing and focus our thoughts on the greatest gift of all.

I got the family shopping done, the gifts mailed today (hand made, whew!), and need to get stocking stuffers tomorrow! It's been such a busy year to keep up with things.
Blessings,
Laurie
