Just wanted to let everyone know that the Homeschool Kids Write blog is up and running again. This blog is set up with creative writing prompts for kids to use on their blogs. Once a week, usually on Sunday evening, a new prompt is posted. After the kids write their posts they come back and sign Mr. Linky. They are encouraged to check out the other posts listed and make new friends. There is no obligation to do all or any of the posts. Right now there are 29 posts from the last school year, which they are free to do if they haven’t already. I hope to make this year’s prompts fun, interesting and educational. Stop by the Homeschool Kids Write blog for more information.

That sounds like fun — my little girl has been wanting to do a blog — We will check it out after school.

and was glad to see that you were planning to keep it up. I'm thinking Gracie might be old enough to work on these this year, and she can certainly use the writing encouragement. Though she's my creative child, she's also my reluctant writer.
I'll have Annaleigh swing by and see if she wants to try this again. She sort of slacked off last year…not just on this, but on blogging in general. She stays pretty busy with other things, but I think this is a valuable thing for her to do. Thanks for taking the time to do this!
Thank you for sharing this. I hadn't seen it before, and I'm about to open my kids an account on the Little Lounge and let them blog, so I'll be sure to check it out.
