I want to take a minute here to brag on my kids. They have been exceptional this week. We have had none of the typical moaning and groaning to get up out of bed, they are actually reading the instructions on their assignment sheets and following them, and, while I was on a particularly long conference call yesterday, they went ahead and worked on the next day’s assignments instead of fighting with each other and interrupting my conversation with exclamations of being bored. Dare I hope that this will continue for the rest of the school year? Well, even if it doesn’t, we still have this little moment of homeschool bliss to look back on and say, “Remember when….”

what are you feeding them? Where can I get some?
I think we had a day or two like that… or I dreamed about it!
That is sweet — we are trying to get back into the swing of things — If I walk out the room my two start fighting — I guess that's what you get with a 13 year old and a 8 year old. Hopfully it will get better! LOL Anissa http://www.homeschoolinginlouisiana.blogspot.com
I thought you were going to tell me that were off at camp for the week. Well, whatever you are feeding them in the mornings, can we have some?
How wonderful it is all going so well. I hope it lasts a good long while.
Blessings,
Dawn
I love those moments when you see the evidence of how wonderful homeschooling really is. You're making a great impact on your kids.
Good thing you documented it here (in writing) just in case it was a "once in a lifetime" thing – but I doubt it! You've got good kids.
