Valentine’s Day gifts don’t have to break the bank. There are homemade, handmade gift ideas galore all over the internet and if you have a Pinterest account I am sure you have been inspired. My daughter has a new passion for scented candles, so we pulled out our candle making supplies and set to work. We took a trip to our favorite Dollar Store and she selected a shallow heart-shaped dish and I found a tall Valentine vase. We also looked through the cupboards for other vessels that we could use to make candle holders. We already had the wax, scents, coloring, and I had purchased the wax melting machine a few years ago on sale, which makes candle making so much easier, so we were good to go. We had great fun making these special gifts for our loved ones. (Please excuse the messy counters.)
This is my $2 Valentine gift for my husband.
Hope you have a very blessed Valentine’s Day.
