Growing up in Massachusetts we took snow for granted and considered it part of living in the north. But here in South Carolina, it snows probably once or twice a year (if that) and because of its rarity, we feel the need to photograph it every time. This past weekend we had about 2-3 inches of a heavy, wet snow. The snowflakes were large enough that the camera caught them as they fell. These pictures were taken from our porch on the second floor.

It is funny how everyone north, South and east of us got snow and we were missed. My kids are really missing snow this year. You took some lovely pictures.
Blessings, Dawn
