Biting into a juicy apple or eating a giant salad is such a pleasure to the senses and quite satisfying to the tummy. I appreciate the work that goes into growing and harvesting fresh fruit and vegetables and am grateful to the farmers who put their love and labor into their crops. I am linking up with Garden of Learning’s Gratitude Challenge and Teaching Good Things 30 Days of Gratitude.  

How lucky are we that when we are thirsty or dirty all we have to do is turn on the faucet and viola! Water.  I am thankful everyday for indoor plumbing. I am linking up with Garden of Learning’s Gratitude Challenge and Teaching Good Things 30 Days of Gratitude.  

Music brings me such comfort and joy. I don’t think there is a day that has gone by that it has been excluded from my life. As I have grown older, my eyes have grown weaker and I now need to wear bifocals all the time. I know lots of folks have worn glasses all their lives, but until you find yourself trying to navigate a blurry world and unable to read even large print I don’t think you truly appreciate what a gift they are.
