Turkey, Cat and Mouse, Thanks and 200th Post

I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving.  Ours was very nice.  We had a bit of a problem with the turkey not cooking properly.  The strangest thing, after 3 ½ hours literally half the bird was cooked and the other half was not.  We put it back in the oven for another hour and still only part of it cooked.  So we ate the cooked part, which was very good and put the other … Continue reading

Happy Thanksgiving

Like so many other bloggers this week, we’re going to take the next few days off from the blogging world and concentrate on the Thanksgiving holiday.  There’s baking to do, and the kids are working on their special holiday skit, so there’s also scenery to complete.   I just want to wish anyone who stops by a very blessed Thanksgiving.  May God make this day a special time of reflection on all that He provides.

Tuesday, about 12:30, just as we were … Continue reading

We have begun to learn about the explorers of North America and will be moving on to Colonial Days in December. I thought that we would try our hand at lap booking. We already use the note booking method so, … Continue reading
