Scattergories Tag

My dear friend Kellie Ann tagged me last week during my computer melt down.  I wasn’t sure if I should use my given name, Virginia, or my nickname.  I enjoy word games, so I decided to do both, but will only tag for my nickname. I don’t think I could find enough people who haven’t been tagged yet for both.  I’ve never played Scattergories, but this was fun. Use the first letter of your name and … Continue reading

Sew Crafty Friday-Creating a Quilled Frame-Part 2

Shereen at Waiting for Him hosts Sew Crafty Friday. Today my middle child turns 14.  What a privilege it has been being his mom.  This is my adventurous child who has provided our family with dramatic tales to be told.  He loves nature and plans to be a marine biologist engineer when he grows up.  He has a compassionate heart and a generally sweet disposition.

Thank-You Stacy

Look what came in the mail over the weekend.  Stacy at By God’s Grace, made this lovely scarf for me as part of the Pay it Forward Exchange she posted back in December.  I absolutely love the warm colors and it smells so pretty.  I wore it all day.  It felt like a hug on a cold day.  I want to thank her for her thoughtfulness and the effort she put into making this lovely … Continue reading
