Always Moist Meatloaf

Always Moist Meatloaf   1 pound ground beef 1 egg, beaten ¾ to 1 cup breadcrumbs ¼ cup milk 1 cup salsa (we use chunky salsa)     Mix all ingredients together, … Continue reading

A 'Duh' Week

This week’s schoolwork has proved to be quite lacking. After taking a few weeks off, it seems the kids have forgotten how to think for themselves. Math has been a complete disaster and they are definitely not putting their best efforts forth.  Sometimes I find it hard to distinguish between the ‘they just don’t know this’ and the ‘they are just being lazy’.  They both seemed to be dressed in the same costume.  There are … Continue reading

Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves. 2. People who are tagged need to write … Continue reading

Lily

I planted this a few years ago and this is the first year it has bloomed.  I have been watching them for weeks, thinking that they were Day lilies, and not wanting to miss their bloom.  What a pleasant surprise! They’ve lasted all week.  They have a wonderful scent and really are quite beautiful.
