In my life this week… I turned 48 this week. On Monday, my son passed his driver’s test. Congratulations, son. Also, my son finally got a job. He has been looking for over 6 months, following up weekly on all the applications he put in. The jobs have been going to older people with experience so it has been really frustrating for him. School, Christmas Activities, and News
It’s that time a year again for the bustle and hustle of holiday preparations. We are incorporating some of these activities into our homeschool days. The kids always make contributions to the family newsletter and putting them into the Christmas cards, but this year I am enlisting their help in addressing the envelopes and writing little messages in the cards themselves. School Update
School has been going much smoother since we made the various curriculum changes. My son is doing so well in geometry it amazes me. He almost never needs help and is scoring in the high 90’s on his tests. What a relief this is. My daughter is also doing well academically, but I still struggle with both of them trying to get away with doing the barest minimum, though we are making slow progress. We … Continue reading
