We didn’t get to take very many field trips this year and we had to basically stop the skating lessons. Besides the rising cost of fuel, concerns about the economy caused us to limit those things deemed extra. This has been a trying first year of high school for my son. Although we found help for him in his Algebra and he appears to have a good understanding of the concepts, we will need to continue working on it throughout the summer. We have completed our required 180 days for school but we continue on. With the struggle the kids have had this year with some of their subjects, especially math, we have been taking those slowly making sure that the concepts are completely understood.
