Monday was a quiet family day. We went over to my parents so the kids could swim. We didn’t stay long because the kids couldn’t seem to follow the rules. My oldest son surprised us Sunday by inviting us to a cookout at Lansford Canal State Park. It was a beautiful day. He supplied all the food (though I did make a pan of S’mores Brownies) and waited on us hand and foot. He wouldn’t let us do anything. The other kids fished while he made lunch. May 25 & 26 Skate Show
May 25 and 26th was the kids 60’s, 70’s and 80’s Ice Skating Show. Even though they had had only 5 lessons they chose to participate. And to help support the home school program, so did 2 other moms and I. One of the moms had just learned to skate herself. We all did well and no one fell. I was very proud of my children.
