Today is my only daughter’s 11th birthday.  I am so glad that the Lord has blessed our lives with such a precious gift.  Her arrival was a pleasant surprise.  She was supposed to be born on Christmas Day, but showed up a little while after 1997 officially arrived.  What better way to start any year!   Happy Birthday, Sweet Daughter!

What a wonderful holiday we are having.  As he has done in the past, my husband has taken his vacation this whole week and we have been enjoying him being home.  Christmas was a day filled with joy.  The kids loved all their gifts and are still making a fuss over the pajamas I made for them. All our Christmas prep is almost done.
