I just finished reading Marilyn Rockett’s book Homeschooling at the Speed of Life.  I found this book to be both inspirational and motivating.  Filled with the wisdom of a seasoned homeschool mom, peppered with wonderfully relevant quotations and Scriptures, and extremely revealing devotions, it leads the reader step by step into the daunting task of balancing life and homeschool.  This book is more than a good read.  It employs a ‘hands-on’ method of helping the … Continue reading →

Our Classroom

Here are a few pictures of our classroom and the kids diligently working.  I have put our black board on the back of the door and that is what they are looking at.  They are back to back to each other. On Resting

As we were heading for ice-skating yesterday, my son remarked that I was different this week.  He commented on how I seemed more patient and wasn’t speaking as loudly as I had before. How We Spent Our Vacation Part 2
