I had a great trip to Tennessee. The four hour drive by myself was filled with beautiful scenery and humbling views. As I drove listening to my favorite music (singing along, of course) I couldn’t resist snapping pictures through the windshield.
Meeting all the wonderful people that I am working with was such a blessing. We had such a time fellow-shipping and learning more about each other. A lot was accomplished.
The hospitality of our host and hostess was overwhelming and their children were amazing. I was so excited to meet my blogging buddy Heidi. She is all I thought she was and so much more.
It is hard to put into words what a fabulous and gifted group of people I am working with. It amazes me how God places people into our lives the way that He does and all the twists and turns He puts in our paths. I work directly under an awesome lady who has such a heart for our Father it inspires me.
The other ladies I met are all so terrific, kind and so down to earth. I could go on and on, singing of each of their virtues.
When I arrived home on Saturday I was greeted with the most wonderful surprise. Today is our 24th anniversary and my husband wanted me to have something special. While I was gone, he and my dad put in a new kitchen floor. Wahoo! Happy Dance all over the place. If you read my blog regularly you may remember me mentioning my desire for a new floor a few times. I have wanted one for quite a few years as the old one was in such a pathetic state. It went from this:
and this:
and this:
to this:
and this:
and this:
And they even did the bathroom:
These guys are the greatest!
Thank you, Daddy for all your help. You rock!
And, honey, I love you more each and every day we share together. Happy Anniversary!
This has been the most exciting, outstanding week I can hardly contain myself. I think I’ll go do my happy dance again.
